The Singapore government enforces data privacy rules under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), organisations are required to designate at least one individual, known as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) to oversee the data protection responsibilities within the organisation and ensure compliance with the PDPA.

为了加强新加坡的数据隐私政策，新加坡政府根据《个人数据保护法》（PDPA）强制要求所有新加坡公司必须指定至少一名数据保护官（DPO），以监督公司内部的数据保护职责并确保遵守《个人数据保护法》。

You can register your Data Protection Officer (DPO) information with the PDPC by 30 September 2024. Kindly note that it is mandatory for all organisations to appoint a DPO and make their business contact information public under the PDPA.
